Description: (Part 2 of the triptych) Depiction of a saree, a piece of clothing that has been used for thousands of years in the southern subcontinent of Asia. About nine yards in length in an assortment of many fabrics, this piece of clothing can be wrapped in various styles of drapes to indicate occasion, functionality, and region. Known to be the most inclusive article of clothing since any body type can drape the same exact piece of fabric and feel comfortable in it. It is a part of cultural identity but has transcended the times and people have now made ancient fashion into modern visions. Inspired by Indian miniature style paintings, here is my interpretation of the fresh mango season that reminisces moments of my childhood.
