"This painting started as something really calm and beautiful, yet it was so untrue to where I am in life right now. So I changed it to something more relatable. This piece was created out of pain and uncertainty. But it was also created by an angel. One who is learning to dance again; and with the help of weekly therapy, one who is healing her wings."
