This piece was created during a time when I unexpectedly became a safe space for others. People were reaching out, opening up, sharing deep and vulnerable parts of their lives. At first, it felt overwhelming especially while I was quietly navigating my own battles.

But I realized it wasn't a coincidence. It was God using me as a vessel, even when I didn’t feel ready.

This painting reflects the mental and emotional layers we all carry whether it's chaos, the cycles, the noise, and the silent cries for help. It speaks to the idea of wonder which is the understanding that every person lives a life as complex as our own. Each square is a window into a different mental state, some hidden, some exposed and some mirroring.
