This piece is inspired by Marvel's Storm from the X-Men. This interpretive piece shows Ororo Munroe (Storm) wielding lightning from two different profiles. I wanted to create interpretative visuals for lovers of the character, because she is often portrayed with strict feminized features, but early editions of the character show more androgynous features. I wanted to re-imagine a fusion of the two styles, making her appear both strong and feminine in both relaxed and queenly aesthetics.
