Bodies of work 3 Opening Reception

Spend the evening celebrating the opening night of BODIES OF WORK III– a creative exhibition at RichesArt Gallery on July 14th, 2023 curated by Leah Bury and Loria Mendoza.

There’s no shortage of art and expression celebrating the human form. In our follow-up exhibit to the past two BODIES OF WORK, we invited local artists to showcase their incredible talent as they considered the human figure. What emerged is a gallery that compels the viewer to consider the body in ways that transcend their ordinary perceptions while underscoring its evocative nature, diversity, and resilience.

Featuring the work of 50+ local Austin artists, our opening night multi-medium gallery activation features live music, body painting, dance, live drawing of models, poetry, vendors, and free libations. Come see the activation in person or visit the gallery from July 14th- August 5th.
