As a nature-based artist, Cecelia's practice is rooted in field research and contemplation of the living world. Through her art, poetry, and dreamlike designs, she imagines new ways of bridging our divides, and seeing the earth with kindred eyes.  This photo sublimation is sustainably printed on Japanese satin, bringing her inspiration full circle by honoring the culture and aesthetic tradition which inspired it. Cecelia practices contemplative photography, and has been recognized for her "miksang moments," which emerge through a meditative state of making images with a camera. Miksang is a Tibetan word meaning good eye not necessarily awise or trained eye, but embracing a way of seeing as if for the first time, captivated by the natural harmonies of light, space, and form.
