This piece is about going through intense sadness and then feeling the need to protect the self from the outside world. There is empowerment in accepting the sadness where we are presently, whatever that feels like. I also believe every experience can be used for growth so whether you interpret this piece as a complete closing of self for protection or building up and fortifying safety within, transmuting to at pain into a something within your control, I hope it resonates with those who see it!
